Description: Tivoli Fest is Elk Horn's Danish Heritage Festival. The fanfare includes Danish delicacies, museum tours, and the annual M&M run, Tivoli parade, and eating contest. When: Memorial Day Weekend.

Annual Operation T-Bone Weekend (Aug.)

Travel Time: 7 minutes

Description: This annual celebration has paid tribute to the famed beef production of Audubon County since 1951. Activities include a Fun Run/Walk along the T-Bone trail, food and craft vendors, a parade, fireworks, a Tractor Exhibition and car show, a Beer Garden, and more. When: the first weekend in August (cancelled 2020).

Iowa State Fair (Aug.)

Travel Time: 1hr 30 minutes (Des Moines, IA)

Description: The internationally-acclaimed Iowa State Fair is the single largest event in the state of Iowa and one of the oldest and largest agricultural and industrial expositions in the country.
