Welcome to Taylor Hill Lodge

Taylor Hill Lodge is an English barn built in the early 1890’s by Grandpa Taylor. The interior of the barn has been remodeled into a comfortable modern lodge while retaining its original design. Read more about the full history of the barn. Take your pick among our six available guest rooms with homey finishings and comfortable bathrooms. We are also the perfect spot for your next family event on Taylor Hill. We’re proud to have served Audubon and surrounding communities for 20 years!

Halfway between Omaha and Des Moines, Taylor Hill Lodge is approximately three miles north of Audubon, Iowa. Located in the rolling hills of western Iowa, you will be glad to know there are many attractions nearby. Make sure to browse the area’s attractions as well.

Taylor Hill Lodge has changed its pet policy! We now welcome guests with dogs, medium-sized and smaller (under 60 pounds), that are house trained. 

As the Lodge is a home with common spaces, it will be your responsibility to keep your dog under control and for Fido or Fifi to do their potty business outside, regardless of the temperature outside. Pet waste bags are available on site. The fee for including a dog in your stay is $75.00 per animal. You will need to sign a form ensuring that you understand the rules for your dogs’ stay at THL. If dogs are left unattended at Taylor Hill Lodge, they must be kenneled.
